16 GB SDHC Card by TranscendWasn't is yesterday that I bought the largest capacity SD card available, with 2 GB? Well, Transcend is now announcing that their 16GB Class 6 SDHC card will be available soon (small details, such as an availability date and price are missing). This card is based on the second generation of SD cards, and it features a data transfer speed of 6 MB/s, supports the FAT32 files system format, and has ECC to avoid data corruption and missing files when transferring data.

Fully Class 6 compliant, the card features fast data transfer speed of 6MB/s and satisfies the high-capacity demands of today's new SDHC devices such as high-end digital cameras or digital camcorders. The massive 16GB memory capacity is enough to store over 8,000 high-resolution 7M JPG photos, thousands of video clips, or even complete full-length high quality movies.
